Math Science Upward Bound Coordinator

DUTIES:

Develop, execute, monitor, and evaluate high school success and college preparatory services to Butte High students and maintain relationships with Butte High staff.
Assist in identifying, recruiting, and selecting student participants.
Provide project information to Butte High and the Butte community at large.
Assist in assessing and prescribing a plan of project services for each participant.
Establish and maintain a tutoring and high school relations record system.
Work to recruit students, conduct participant follow-up, and meet with school staff.
Maintain communication between project participants, parents, and Butte High.
Provide leadership for effective parental and community involvement.
Prepare individual success plans for participants.
Travel and working on some weekends and evenings.

Administrative Associate III

Department: Institute for Educational Opportunities
Employment Detail: Full-Time

DUTIES:

The position will maintain the TRIO programs (Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math Science, Talent Search and Student Support Services) office and execute daily general office duties. In addition, the position will be responsible for;

    Execute office duties (filing, copying, typing, data entry, travel and purchasing).
    Coordinate annual graduate tracking survey.
    Collect, record, maintain student and administrative records.
    Input data into the curriculum and instructional record system and generate reports.
    Create recruiting publications (including info graphics) and website with guidance from the professional staff.
    Supervise Clerical Work Study Aide when applicable.
    Attend staff meetings and providing administrative support for multiple staff members
    Track program expenses and prepare monthly reports for the Director and Coordination staff, in accordance with State, Federal, University System and Grant Agency laws, rules, guidelines
    Analyze expenses for projects’ efficiency and effectiveness evaluation measures
    Track US Department of Education draw downs and reconcile to campus revenue.
    Provide high level fiscal management of diverse and significant funds by develop and maintain communication with the Office of Sponsored Programs for grant and IDC accounts and the Montana Tech Foundation for fundraising accounts.
    Develop and maintain communication with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Payroll, Human Resources, Business Office, and other campuses entities as necessary.
    Serve as the one-person main office for the remote staff.
