REGISTRATION

We typically have the teachers nominate students and then nominated students register. 
But since we’ve agreed to hold the CA-Southern JSHS, we are waiving the nomination process for the CASJSHS students. 
Students can register & submit paperwork for the CASJSHS by
January 18 at 5pm MST
and follow all the dates and deadlines from there that are outlined below.

Teacher Nomination and Registration

Nominations from teachers/mentors opens November 23 and remains open through DECEMBER 18, 2020. To nominate student(s), Click Here and select the “Register Now” button in the top right corner of the page. The nomination form and registration form are the same. Please select the Teacher option from the dropdown menu when registering.

Student Registration – Research Paper Submission is Closed

Students, Click Here and select the “Register Now” button in the top right corner of the page. Please select the Student option from the dropdown menu when completing the registration form.

To submit your Abstract, Research Paper and Statement of Outside Assistance by 11:59 PM MST Friday, January 15, 2021, go back into your registration (you will need your confirmation number from when you registered) and upload your documents. The 2021-JSHS-Outside-Assistance-Form form is located in your registration.

Completed registration forms and/or essay* (see below) for ALL other IJSHS participants is due by February 24, 2021.

Students wishing to attend as an observer must submit a short essay. Please note that while we strive to include all interested students, preference will be given to those who submit research papers. Essays must address the following (max. 250 words in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format):

  1. Your specific interests in science, technology, engineering, and/or math;

  2. How attending the IJSHS as an observer will benefit you;

  3. What you hope to learn and experience at the IJSHS.

For those completing an observer essay, Click Here to register through the IJSHS registration platform (select student option from dropdown menu) and submit your essay. Format style needs to be .doc, .docx, or .pdf.

Students and Teachers will be notified of students’ presentation status (competitive oral presentation or non-competitive poster session) between February 10 and 12, 2021.
