Hello Science Fair Teachers,
I am pleased to announce announce dates and details of the 2016 Montana Tech Regional Science and Engineering Fair, and invite your students to participate.
My name is Amanda Shroyer and I have recently been hired as the Science Fair Director at Montana Tech. It is an honor to be responsible for continuing a 25 year tradition of providing students an opportunity to be rewarded for their inquiries.
Thanks to Montana Tech's excellent community and corporate sponsors, the 2016 Fair is positioned to award more scholarships and awards than any other science fair or contest across the state. For example, the top ten middle school students will earn an all-expense paid trip to a new surprise location and the grand prize winners of the high school Fair travel to Phoenix, AZ to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. In addition, over 50 other awards will be given at the conclusion of each fair to encourage and foster students' interest in the sciences!
I look forward to working with each of you and your students. Please contact me with questions about the fair at email@example.com.
- Outreach presentations to area elementary schools
- Follow up competitions/ed-ventures for middle and high school participants
- Volunteer judges at area schools
- Quality judging experience at MT Tech
- More prizes and cash awards than any other fair in MT
- Peer and public recognition that stimulates interest in inquiry based learning
If you are interested in judging, sponsoring an award, or have any questions please contact Amanda Shroyer at firstname.lastname@example.org, ph:(406) 496.4878
